Matriarch Her Beatitude Elnette Edwards My dear family, In a world where truth has become negotiable and everyone seems to have their own version of reality, I want to remind you that God calls us to something higher—He calls us to walk in truth, to speak truth, and to be people of integrity whose word can be trusted. Truthfulness isn't just about not telling lies. It's about living authentically, being who you say you are when no one's watching. It's about keeping your commitments even when it costs you something. It's about being honest in your business dealings, faithful in your relationships, and transparent about your struggles. I remember a time early in my ministry when I made a mistake—a significant one that hurt people I cared about. Everything in me wanted to hide it, minimize it, or blame someone else. But the Holy Spirit convicted me: "Elnette, you can't lead people into truth if you're living in deception." So I stood before my cong...

SACRIFICE

Queen Abbess Dr Patricia Hackshaw The Pathway to True Devotion "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." — Romans 12:1 My Precious Children, Sacrifice is not about loss—it is about love. It is the willingness to release what we hold dear for the sake of something greater: God’s glory and His kingdom. I have walked this path for many years, and I have learned that sacrifice is not a burden but a privilege. It is the opportunity to participate in God’s work, to align our hearts with His purposes, and to experience the depth of His love. In The Mystical Order, we do not sacrifice to earn God’s favour. We sacrifice because we have already received His love. Every act of surrender—whether it is our time, our comfort, or our ambitions—is an act of worship. It is the recognition that God is worthy of all we are and all we have. But let me share a tru...

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM ARCHBISHOP ANDRES B. QUOW

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow Beloved in Christ, devotion is the language of love spoken from earth to heaven. It is how the believer answers the call of God with more than a nod of agreement; it is the offering of the whole life back to the One who gave it. True devotion cannot be confined to a single day of worship or a single role in the sanctuary. It must flow through every thought, every decision, and every relationship. Where devotion is present, there is a quiet stability, a holy resolve that does not crumble under pressure, because it rests in the character of God. As Presiding Prelate, there is a sacred responsibility to keep pointing the Church toward this deeper life with God. Structures and programs have their place, but they cannot replace a heart that is on fire for the Lord. It is possible to be busy in the house of God and yet distant from the God of the house. Devotion corrects this imbalance. It draws leaders and members alike bac...

TRUSTING GOD IN THE UNKNOWN

Title: "Stepping into the Unknown with Faith" Beloved in Christ, Life often leads us into uncharted territory—moments where the path ahead is unclear, and the future seems uncertain. In these times, we are called to trust God completely. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us,  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Trusting God doesn’t mean we will always have all the answers. It means we choose to believe that He is in control, even when we cannot see the way forward. It means surrendering our fears and doubts to Him, knowing that His plans for us are good. This week, if you find yourself facing the unknown, take a moment to pray and surrender your worries to God. Ask Him for the faith to take the next step, even when it feels uncertain. Remember, God is not just with you—He is going before you, preparing the way. For more encouragement and resources on trusting Go...

THE FREEDOM OF FORGIVENESS

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Beloved Saints, There is power and freedom in forgiveness, a divine grace that must flow within every fellowship if it is to flourish. In a world marked by conflict and wounded hearts, forgiveness stands as a beacon of the Gospel—a living testimony to the mercy shown us in Christ. Without forgiveness, bitterness takes root, staining relationships and hindering spiritual progress. Our Lord taught us to forgive “seventy times seven,” signifying an endless well of mercy. Consider how much you have been forgiven; let that same mercy overflow to others. Forgiveness does not erase the memory of pain but removes its power to control your heart. It frees you to walk in peace, unburdened by resentment or anger, and opens the door for healing and restoration. Within The Mystical Order, let forgiveness be practised with sincerity and swiftness. If a brother has wronged you, seek reconciliation—not delay. If you have failed, seek repentance and trust in the God who ...

THE POSTURE OF TRUE GREATNESS

Humility Pastoral Messages by Matriarch Elnette Edwards Precious family, I want to share something with you that took me far too long to learn: humility is not thinking less of yourself—it's thinking of yourself less. It's the foundation of every other virtue and the soil where spiritual maturity grows. When I first stepped into ministry, I was young, passionate, and if I'm honest, a little prideful. I thought I had something to prove. I wanted people to recognize my gifts, respect my calling, and acknowledge my contributions. I preached with power, but sometimes that power was fueled more by ego than by the Holy Spirit. Then came the season that humbled me completely. The ministry I'd built began to struggle. People I'd invested in walked away. Critics questioned my leadership. My health failed. Everything I'd used to define myself—my success, my influence, my abilities—was stripped away. I found myself flat on my face before God with nothing left to offer b...

VISION

Queen Abbess Dr Patricia Hackshaw  Seeing the World Through God’s Eyes "Where there is no vision, the people perish." — Proverbs 29:18 My Dear Ones, Vision is the ability to see the world through God’s eyes—to recognize His purposes, to align our hearts with His plans, and to move forward in faith, even when the path is unclear. I have spent my life seeking God’s vision for The Mystical Order, and I have learned that vision is not about human ambition. It is about divine alignment. It is the courage to dream with God, to trust His promises, and to step out in faith, even when the world says it is impossible. In The Mystical Order, we do not walk by sight alone; we walk by faith. Vision is not about seeing the future with certainty but about trusting God to lead us one step at a time. It is the assurance that He is faithful, that His plans are good, and that He will complete the work He has begun in us. But let me warn you: The enemy will always seek to blur your visio...

DEVOTION WITH ARCHBISHOP ANDRES B. QUOW

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Andres B. Quow Beloved, devotion is the holy fire that keeps the Church from growing cold in a changing world. Many things contend for the attention of the believer, but only one thing is truly needful: to sit at the feet of the Master and hear His word. When the soul chooses this better part, confusion begins to lift and purpose becomes clear. Devotion reorders priorities. It teaches the heart to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all other things will be added in due season. In this way, the devoted life is both focused and fruitful. As the Archbishop, the desire is to see every believer anchored, not in emotion alone, but in a deep, steady walk with God. Feelings rise and fall, but devotion remains. It expresses itself when you stand in worship, though your heart is heavy, when you forgive. Still, you have been wronged, and when you labour in love, though few may notice. These hidden obediences are precious to Go...

DISCOVERING DIVINE PURPOSE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Cherished Members of The Mystical Order, There is a divine purpose embedded in the life of every believer—a calling that predates your very existence and weaves your story into the grand tapestry of God’s eternal plan. You are not here by accident, but by divine appointment. The footsteps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord, and so every season, every trial, and every triumph has meaning. Embrace your purpose with holy courage. The world may cast doubt or confusion your way, but remember, God’s plan is unchangeable and His word endures forever. You are called not just to exist, but to make a difference, to shine as a light in the darkness, and to bear witness to His glory. The Mystical Order flourishes when each member passionately pursues their God-given role—the preacher, the prayer intercessor, the encourager, the musician, the silent servant behind the scenes. Divine purpose is discovered through prayer, service, and reflection upon the Word. It...

FREEDOM FROM THE PRISON OF FORGIVENESS

Pastoral Messages by Matriarch Elnette Edwards My dear ones, Today I want to talk to you about forgiveness, and I need you to hear me with your whole heart, because this might be the most important message, I ever share with you. Unforgiveness will destroy you faster than the offense that wounded you. I know this because I've lived it. Years ago, someone I trusted deeply betrayed me in a way that shattered my world. The details don't matter now, but the devastation was real. I was angry—no, I was furious. I felt justified in my bitterness. They had wronged me, and I had every right to hold onto that hurt, to replay it, to let it fuel my resentment. For months, I carried that unforgiveness like a badge of honor. But what I thought was protecting me was actually poisoning me. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't pray without that person's face intruding on my thoughts. I couldn't worship without feeling the anger rise up. My unforgiveness wasn't hur...

BROKENNESS

Queen Abbess Dr Patricia Hackshaw The Beauty of a Heart Surrendered to God "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18 My Beloved, Brokenness is not the end—it is the beginning. It is the place where God meets us in our deepest need, where He mends our wounds, and where He transforms our pain into purpose. I have walked through seasons of brokenness, and I have learned that it is not a sign of weakness but of surrender. It is the humility to acknowledge our need for God, to release our pride, and to allow Him to mould us into His image. In The Mystical Order, we do not hide our brokenness. We bring it to the altar, where God’s grace can heal and restore. Brokenness is not about shame; it is about surrender. It is the courage to come to God as we are, to lay down our masks, and to receive His mercy. But let me share a truth I have learned: Brokenness is the soil in which God plants the seeds of revival. It is the pl...

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE WITH HON. ANDRES B. QUOW

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow Beloved in the Lord, devotion is the sacred bridge between calling and fulfilment. Many hear the call of God, but only those who give themselves in steady devotion see the fullness of His purpose unfold in their lives. Devotion is not loud, yet it is powerful. It is the quiet choice made in the heart to honour God when no one is watching, to keep integrity when compromise seems easier, and to serve faithfully when applause has faded. In such hidden places, God shapes His true servants. As Presiding Prelate, the desire is that every member of The Mystical Order understands that devotion is not reserved for the pulpit alone. It belongs in the home, in the workplace, and in the unseen chambers of the heart. When parents pray over their children, when leaders seek God before making decisions, when believers turn away from bitterness and choose forgiveness—that is devotion in action. These are the offerings that delight the heart of...

THE JOY OF SALVATION

Title: "Rejoicing in Salvation: Living in the Freedom of Christ" Beloved in the Lord, Salvation is the  greatest gift we could ever receive . It is through Christ’s sacrifice that we are redeemed, forgiven, and set free from the bondage of sin. The Psalmist declares,  "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it"  (Psalm 118:24). Every day is an opportunity to celebrate the freedom and joy we have in Christ. This week, let us reflect on the depth of God’s love for us. He sent His Son to die for our sins so that we might have eternal life (John 3:16). This is not just a truth to be acknowledged; it is a reality to be lived out daily. Our salvation should fill us with gratitude, joy, and a desire to  share this good news with others . Ask yourself: How can I live in the fullness of my salvation? Am I allowing the  joy of the Lord to be my strength  (Nehemiah 8:10)? Let us not take this gift for granted but instead let it t...

THE ENDURANCE OF PERSEVERANCE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Blessed Saints of The Mystical Order, Today, let us speak courage to every heart persevering under weighty trials and seasons of waiting. The journey of faith is marked not only by mountaintop triumphs but also by valleys where the soul must press on, sometimes with weary feet and trembling hands. Perseverance separates the fleeting from the fruitful. Many start with zeal, but it is those who endure to the end who shall be saved and crowned with victory. God refines character through adversity; He does not waste a single moment of your struggle. Each hardship endured with faith becomes a stepping stone towards your divine inheritance. Recall the saints of old—Abraham waiting for the promise, Joseph enduring prison, Daniel confronting the lions, and our Saviour enduring the cross. Not one was abandoned in their perseverance. So too, The Mystical Order must remain steadfast when the way is rough and the answers delayed. Brother, sister, do not grow weary i...

THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT

LOVE Pastoral Messages by Matriarch Elnette Edwards Beloved children, If I could leave you with one message, one truth that matters above all else, it would be this: love is everything. Not the romantic, feelings-based love that the world peddles, but the deep, sacrificial, unconditional love that flows from the heart of God and transforms everything it touches. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. Everything else—all the rules, all the theology, all the religious practices—hangs on these two commands. Love is the foundation, the framework, and the fruit of authentic faith. But let's be honest—real love is hard. It's easy to love people who love you back, who treat you well, who think like you and look like you. The challenge comes when God calls us to love the difficult people, the ones who hurt us, the ones we disagree with, the ones who don't deserve it. I learned about...

DISCERNMENT

Queen Abbess Dr Patricia Hackshaw The Wisdom to See Beyond the Surface "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." — Romans 12:2 My Dear Children, Discernment is the spiritual gift of seeing beyond the surface—of recognizing the hand of God at work in our lives and the world around us. It is not about suspicion or cynicism but about wisdom, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and the ability to align our choices with God’s truth. I have walked this path for many years, and I have learned that discernment is not a gift reserved for a select few. It is available to all who seek God’s heart with humility and faith. In The Mystical Order, we cultivate discernment through prayer, Scripture, and a life of surrender. It is the ability to distinguish between the voice of God and the noise of the world, between truth and deception, and ...
