FELLOWSHIP

We Need Each Other Pastoral Messages by Matriarch Elnette Edwards Precious family, Let me tell you something I've learned through decades of ministry: you cannot walk this faith journey alone. I don't care how strong you are, how much Bible knowledge you have, or how deep your prayer life is—God designed us for community, and we need each other. I grew up in a time when community wasn't optional—it was survival. When someone's house burned down, we rebuilt it together. When someone got sick, we brought meals and sat with them. When someone lost a loved one, we mourned together and held them up when grief threatened to swallow them whole. We understood that we were stronger together than we could ever be apart. Somewhere along the way, we lost that. We got busy, isolated, independent. We started believing the lie that asking for help is weakness, that vulnerability is dangerous, that we should have it all together before we show up. And we're suffering for it—lone...

PEACE

Queen Abbess Dr Patricia Hackshaw The Divine Presence in the Midst of Life’s Storms "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." — John 14:27 My Beloved, Peace is not the absence of storms —it is the presence of God in the midst of them. I have walked through many trials, and I have learned that peace is not a feeling; it is a Person. It is Jesus, the Prince of Peace, who calms the raging seas of our hearts and speaks quiet assurance to our souls. In The Mystical Order, we do not fear the storms, for we know that God is with us. Peace is not found in our circumstances but in our Saviour. It is the confidence that He holds the future, that His plans are good, and that His love never fails. But peace is not passive. It is a choice to trust, to rest, and to surrender our anxieties to Him. It is the discipline of fixing our eyes on Jesus, even when the winds howl and the wa...

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE WITH ANDRES B. QUOW

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow Grace and peace be unto you in the name of our risen Lord. Devotion is the anchor that holds the soul steady in changing times. When storms arise and uncertainties abound, it is the devoted heart that remains fixed, trusting in the faithfulness of God. This devotion is not seasonal; it is a daily offering, a constant “yes” to the will of the Father. It is expressed when we bow in prayer, when we serve one another with patience, and when we choose righteousness over convenience. In such a life, God is honoured, and His purposes are advanced. As Presiding Prelate, the call is to lead not only by instruction but by example. The shepherd must first walk the path he invites others to follow. Therefore, there must be a continual returning to the secret place, where title and rank fall away, and the soul stands bare before its Maker. In that quiet sanctuary of the heart, God refines motives, corrects attitudes, and renews str...

THE STRENGTH OF PERSEVERANCE

Title: "Pressing On: Finding Strength in Perseverance" Beloved in Christ, Life is a journey filled with both triumphs and trials. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 3:13-14,  "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Perseverance is not just about  enduring hardship ; it is about moving forward with faith, even when the path is unclear. It is about trusting that  God is working all things together for our good  (Romans 8:28). When we face challenges, we must remember that our strength comes from the Lord. He equips us with everything we need to overcome and to grow in our faith. This week, I encourage you to reflect on the areas of your life where perseverance is required. Are you facing a difficult situation at work, in your famil...

THE GRACE OF HUMILITY

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Precious Children of the Kingdom, Today, let us reflect upon the grace of humility—a virtue so vital to the heart of our Lord and so necessary for the advancement of our sacred fellowship. Humility is not thinking less of oneself but thinking of oneself less; it is the soil in which all other virtues can flourish. It is humility that opens heaven’s doors and draws divine favour upon our steps. Our Master, the Lord Jesus, humbled Himself even unto death, setting before us the supreme example. In His earthly ministry, He washed the feet of those who would soon betray and abandon Him—a lesson that true greatness belongs not to those who seek to be served, but to those who stoop to serve. Let this spirit of humility be found among all who carry the banner of The Mystical Order. Pride erects barriers between brethren, silencing dialogue and breeding offence. Humility, in contrast, bridges hearts and mends what pride once fractured. As you journey together, pr...

ENDURANCE: STANDING WHEN EVERYTHING SAYS FALL

Pastoral Messages by Matriarch Elnette Edwards My dear family, There's a tree outside my window that's weathered every storm these forty years—lightning strikes, hurricanes, droughts, and bitter winters. Its trunk bears scars, its branches show where limbs once broke away, but it still stands. Every spring, without fail, it blooms. That tree has taught me everything I need to know about endurance. Endurance isn't about being strong enough never to bend. It's about having roots deep enough to keep standing when everything in you wants to fall. It's about holding on when your hands are tired, your faith is tested, and you can't see one step ahead. I've walked through seasons that tested every ounce of my faith. There were days when getting out of bed felt like climbing a mountain. There were nights when I cried myself to sleep, wondering if morning would ever come. There were moments when I questioned everything I believed, when God felt distant and silent,...

STEWARDSHIP

Queen Abbess Dr Patricia Hackshaw  The Sacred Trust of God’s Gifts "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." — Luke 12:48 My Faithful Ones, Stewardship is not about ownership—it is about trust. Everything we have—our time, our talents, our resources—has been entrusted to us by God. We are not owners; we are stewards, called to manage His gifts with wisdom, generosity, and faith. In The Mystical Order, we understand that stewardship is an act of worship . It is the recognition that all we have belongs to God, and we are called to use it for His glory. This means we give generously , we serve wholeheartedly, and we live with open hands, ready to release what God asks of us. But stewardship is not just about giving—it is about living with intention. It is about using our time wisely, cultivating our talents, and investing our resources in ways that honour God and bless others...

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM THE ARCHBISHOP

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Andres B. Quow Beloved, the life of devotion is a sacred journey into the heart of God. Each day, the Father extends an invitation to draw nearer, to step away from the clamour of the world and to enter the holy place of communion with Him. Devotion is more than a moment; it is a posture of the soul. It is the steady turning of the heart toward God in prayer, in worship, and in obedience. When the believer chooses this way of devotion, even ordinary tasks become sanctified, and the presence of God becomes a felt reality in every season of life. There are times when the road is steep, and the burdens are heavy. In such hours, the devoted heart must remember that God has not abandoned His people. He walks beside the weary pilgrim, strengthening, upholding, and gently lifting the soul that trusts in Him. The Archbishop, as servant of the altar, must continually point the faithful to this sustaining grace. Leadership in the Church is not a thro...

EMBRACING GOD'S LOVE AND GRACE

Title: "Living in the Fullness of God’s Love" Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love is the foundation of our faith. It is a love that is unconditional, unwavering, and everlasting. In 1 John 4:16, we are reminded,  "So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and anyone who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in them." This week, let us reflect on what it means to live in the fullness of God’s love. It means embracing His grace, forgiving others as He has forgiven us, and extending kindness to those around us. God’s love is not just a feeling; it is a call to action—a call to live as His ambassadors in this world. As you go about your week, ask yourself: How can I show God’s love to others? Is there someone who needs encouragement, forgiveness, or a helping hand? Let us be vessels of His love, shining His light in every situation. For more inspiration and teachings on God’s love and grace, visit ...

THE BEAUTY OF UNITY

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Kingdom, Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. Unity is the bond that keeps the flame of The Mystical Order burning bright. It is the visible reflection of heaven’s harmony upon earth. Where there is unity, the Spirit of God abides; where division creeps in, blessings are hindered. Each member is vital to this ministry's growth. As the body has many parts, so do we each have roles for the edification of all. The hand cannot despise the foot; the eye cannot reject the ear. Only when we move in one accord can the divine purpose of our ministry be fulfilled. Let love be the thread that weaves us together. When misunderstanding arises, let forgiveness flow swiftly. When pride threatens to divide, let humility restore the balance. Unity does not mean sameness—it means harmony. Let your unique gifts blend into the symphony of God’s greater work among us. The Mystical Order stands today because our fathers a...

PRAYER: THE ALTAR OF OUR HEARTS

Pastoral Messages by Matriarch Elnette Edwards Leadership: A Founding Story Beloved family, Let me take you back to a time when leadership meant something different from what we often see today. I remember sitting on my grandmother's porch in the thick summer heat, watching her welcome every soul who passed by with the same grace—whether they were the mayor or the man who swept the church steps. She had no title, no platform, but people followed her wisdom like streams flowing to the river. "Elnette," she would say, her hands never stopping their work, whether shelling peas or mending clothes, "a true leader doesn't stand above the people. A true leader stands among them, bearing their burdens, celebrating their joys, and pointing them always toward what is higher and holier than themselves." I didn't understand then that I was witnessing the foundation of servant leadership—the kind that doesn't seek position but accepts responsibility, that does...

WORSHIP AS A LIFESTYLE

Queen Abbess Dr Patricia Hackshaw Worship as a Lifestyle: Living for God’s Glory "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." — 1 Corinthians 10:31 My Precious Children, Worship is not a song—it is a life . I have spent decades in prayer, in service, and in the quiet places of the heart, and I have learned this: Worship is not confined to a sanctuary or a Sunday morning. It is the rhythm of a heart that beats for God in every moment. When you tend to the sick, you worship. When you speak kindness to the broken, you worship. When you surrender your plans to His will, you worship. Every act of obedience, every word of thanksgiving, every choice to trust—these are the notes of the symphony we offer to our King. Ask yourself: Is my life a living hymn to God ? Let us not compartmentalize our faith. Let every breath, every step, and every thought be an act of worship. With a Heart of Worship,   Queen Abbess Patricia

DEVOTION WITH ANDRES B. QUOW

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon.  Andres B. Quow Beloved in Christ, our devotion to God is the lifeblood of our spiritual existence. It is through unwavering faith and steadfast prayer that we find communion with the Almighty and strength for the work to which we are called. Each dawn that breaks is another opportunity to rededicate our hearts to divine purpose—to lift our eyes to the hills from whence cometh our help and to move forward, clothed in the anointing of the Spirit. Genuine devotion transforms duty into delight, burden into blessing, and sacrifice into sacred joy. As we lead God’s people, our example must be one of constant spiritual renewal. The Presiding Prelate, like the shepherd before the flock, must model submission to God’s command and discipline in His service. We must set our hearts on things eternal, remembering that the fruit of devotion is holiness, and the fragrance of holiness is love. Without love, service becomes ritual; but with love, even the sm...

THE POWER OF PRAYER AND UNITY

Title: "United in Prayer: Strengthening Our Spiritual Bonds" Dear Brothers and Sisters, Prayer is the lifeline of our faith. It is through prayer that we communicate with our Heavenly Father, seek His guidance, and find strength in His presence. Jesus Himself taught us the importance of prayer, saying,  "Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven"  (Matthew 18:19). This week, let us focus on the power of united prayer. When we come together in prayer, we create a spiritual bond that transcends our individual struggles. We become a force for God’s kingdom, lifting one another up and interceding for the needs of our community and the world. I urge you to set aside time this week to pray not only for your own needs but for the needs of others. Pray for your family, your church, your leaders, and even those who may not yet know Christ. Let your prayers be a testament to your faith and a so...

THE POWER OF PRAYER

. HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey   Beloved saints, Prayer is the spiritual breath of the believer, the sacred dialogue between the soul and its Creator. In prayer, we do not inform God of our needs—He already knows them—but we align ourselves with His will. Prayer changes not the nature of God, but the posture of man before Him. When the Mystical Order first gathered in the spirit of obedience, it was prayer that opened the heavens. It was prayer that stirred revival fires across our fellowship. And it will be prayer that sustains us as one body, united in divine communion. Every triumph in this ministry has been birthed in prayer, and every miracle sealed by it. Beloved brethren, let prayer be more than words—it must become a lifestyle. Rise each morning with a prayer of thanksgiving and close each night with a prayer of surrender. When trials visit, turn not to complaint but to communion. The Master Himself withdrew often to pray, showing us that power in ministry flows directl...
