DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM THE ARCHBISHOP

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Andres B. Quow

Beloved, the life of devotion is a sacred journey into the heart of God. Each day, the Father extends an invitation to draw nearer, to step away from the clamour of the world and to enter the holy place of communion with Him. Devotion is more than a moment; it is a posture of the soul. It is the steady turning of the heart toward God in prayer, in worship, and in obedience. When the believer chooses this way of devotion, even ordinary tasks become sanctified, and the presence of God becomes a felt reality in every season of life.

There are times when the road is steep, and the burdens are heavy. In such hours, the devoted heart must remember that God has not abandoned His people. He walks beside the weary pilgrim, strengthening, upholding, and gently lifting the soul that trusts in Him. The Archbishop, as servant of the altar, must continually point the faithful to this sustaining grace. Leadership in the Church is not a throne of comfort but a cross of service, carried in love and in total dependence upon the Spirit of God.

Devotion also calls the Church to holiness. The altar cannot burn with strange fire; it must be kindled by pure hearts, cleansed hands, and surrendered wills. When the people of God humble themselves, turn from sin, and seek His face, a fresh wind of renewal breathes through the sanctuary. Unity is restored, vision is sharpened, and the presence of the Lord becomes the distinguishing mark of the fellowship. Let every member, from the youngest to the eldest, commit anew to this path of consecration.

As the year unfolds, let the lamp of devotion never go out in your home, your heart, or your assembly. Guard your prayer life. Cherish the Word. Love one another fervently. May the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, and may the glory of God rest upon The Mystical Order in ever‑increasing measure.

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
