DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE WITH ARCHBISHOP

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Andres B. Quow Beloved, devotion is the sacred rhythm that keeps the believer’s heart in harmony with the will of God. When the world pulls in many directions, devotion draws us back to the centre—to the still point where Christ reigns as Lord over every thought, decision, and desire. It is in this place of yieldedness that confusion gives way to clarity and fear surrenders to trust. Devotion teaches the soul to rest, not in its own strength, but in the unfailing faithfulness of God. From this rest flows courage to face trials and grace to endure every season. As Archbishop, the prayer is that each member of this Mystical Order will cultivate such a life of steady devotion. It cannot be borrowed from another nor sustained by occasional bursts of emotion. It must be nurtured daily, like a flame that is carefully tended lest it grow dim. This happens when we make room for prayer, when we treasure the Word, and when we listen for the gentle prompti...

THE GIFT OF PEACE

Title: "Finding Peace in the Midst of Chaos" Beloved in the Lord, In a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, Jesus offers us a peace that transcends understanding. In John 14:27, He says,  "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."  This peace is not dependent on our circumstances but is rooted in our trust in God. This week, if you feel overwhelmed or anxious, take a moment to rest in God’s presence. Surrender your worries to Him in prayer and allow His peace to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7). Remember, God is sovereign over all things, and He holds your future in His hands. Ask yourself: Am I allowing fear to control me, or am I trusting in God’s promises? Let His peace be your anchor in every storm. For more encouragement and resources on finding peace in Christ, visit  Mystical Order Inc.  and  Mystical Brotherhood . May the pe...

GOD'S FAITHFULNESS ENDURES

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Beloved Members of The Mystical Order, Grace and peace to you, cherished family in Christ. As we journey together through seasons of both abundance and challenge, let us be reminded of the unshakeable faithfulness of our God. His promises anchor us, His love surrounds us, and His Spirit empowers us for every good work. When the burdens of ministry weigh heavily and doubts seek to trouble your mind, remember that the Lord who called you is both able and willing to sustain you. God is not distant nor unaware of our circumstances. Even in moments when His presence feels elusive—like in the wilderness—He is sovereign over every desert and every valley. The Scriptures remind us: “God knows where you are and what you’re facing, even if it feels like He’s distant. It might seem that you are in the desert, but He is Lord over the desert, too. You are not alone”. Each step you take in obedience is a testimony to the divine purpose set before you, and you are exac...
Honour Pastoral Messages by Matriarch Elnette Edwards My precious family, There's a principle in Scripture that we don't talk about enough—honour. To honour someone means to give weight to their position, to show respect for their role, to recognize their value. God commands us to honour our parents, honour authority, honour one another, and ultimately honour Him. This isn't optional—it's essential to healthy relationships and spiritual maturity. I learned about honour from my grandmother who, despite living through segregation and injustice, taught me to respect everyone—regardless of their race, class, or position. "Elnette," she'd say, "how you treat people reflects on your God. Honour doesn't mean you agree with everyone or that you accept mistreatment. It means you recognize the image of God in every person and treat them accordingly." Honour starts in the heart. It's an attitude of respect that manifests in our words, actions, an...

MERCY

Queen Abbess Dr Patricia Hackshaw The Reflection of God’s Love "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." — Matthew 5:7 My Dear Children, Mercy is the reflection of God’s love in our lives. It is not just forgiveness but the willingness to extend grace to others, even when they do not deserve it. I have spent my life in the presence of God, and I have learned that mercy is not weakness—it is strength. It is the courage to love as Christ loves, to forgive as He forgives, and to show kindness even when it is not returned. In The Mystical Order, we do not withhold mercy. We give it freely, for we ourselves have received it from God. Mercy is the bridge that heals broken relationships, restores wounded hearts, and brings reconciliation. It is the language of the Kingdom, the song of the redeemed, and the mark of a heart transformed by grace. But let me warn you: The enemy will tempt you to withhold mercy, to harbour bitterness, and to seek revenge. Do not l...

DEVOTION WITH ARCHBISHOP ANDRES B. QUOW

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow Beloved, devotion is the steady flame that guides the servant of God through seasons of visibility and seasons of obscurity. There are times when the work of ministry is celebrated, and there are times when it seems to go unnoticed. Yet the devoted heart serves with the same diligence in both. It understands that the true rewarder of all labour is God Himself, and that nothing done for His glory is ever forgotten. This perspective keeps the soul from growing weary in well-doing and sustains the leader through long stretches of faithful, unseen service. As Presiding Prelate, there is deep appreciation for those within The Mystical Order who quietly uphold the work with prayer, sacrifice, and steadfast commitment. Devotion honours such labour, not by magnifying the individual, but by recognizing the grace of God at work in them. It also challenges each of us to examine where we may have allowed complacency to creep in. Have we gr...

THE CALL TO HOLINESS

Title: "Pursuing Holiness: Living Set Apart for God" Dear Brothers and Sisters, Holiness is not an option for the believer—it is a calling. In 1 Peter 1:15-16, we are commanded,  "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’"  Holiness is not about perfection, but about surrendering our lives to God and allowing Him to shape us into the image of Christ. This week, let us examine our hearts and lives. Are there areas where we have compromised our values or allowed sin to take root? Holiness requires intentionality—choosing daily to turn away from sin and to walk in obedience to God’s Word. Ask God to reveal any areas in your life that need transformation. Seek accountability, pray for strength, and trust in His grace to help you live a life that honors Him. For teachings on holiness and spiritual growth, visit  Mystical Order Inc.  and  Mystical Brotherhood . May you pursue holiness...

EMBRACING RENEWAL

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Dear Brethren, Renewal is the breath of the Spirit, the continual freshening of our hearts and minds in the presence of God. It is the process by which we are transformed from glory to glory, becoming more like Christ each day. The Mystical Order, as a living body, thrives when every member seeks renewal in spirit, purpose, and relationship. Do not grow weary or complacent, but allow the Holy Spirit to revive your soul. Set aside time for reflection, prayer, and study of the Word. Let old burdens fall away and a new vision take root. Renewal brings strength for the journey ahead and fresh power to fulfil your calling. As a ministry, let us embrace renewal daily—individually and corporately. Shake off the dust of routine, rekindle your passion for Christ, and march forward with renewed vigour and joy. The future of The Mystical Order is bright because God is the One who renews our strength like the eagle’s. Step forward today in the assurance that new mer...

TURNING OBLIGATION INTO WORSHIP

Thankfulness Pastoral Messages by Matriarch Elnette Edwards Dear ones, I want to share with you the subtle but profound difference between gratitude and thankfulness. While gratitude is the feeling of appreciation in our hearts, thankfulness is the expression of that gratitude—it's gratitude with feet, gratitude with voice, gratitude in action. You can be grateful in your heart but never express it. But when you're thankful, you tell God, you tell others, you live differently because of what you've received. Thankfulness transforms obligation into worship and duty into delight. I grew up in a household where my mother insisted we say "thank you" for everything. At first, it felt like just good manners—something polite children did. But as I matured, I realized she was teaching us something deeper: that acknowledging blessings increases our awareness of them, that expressing appreciation strengthens relationships, and that a thankful heart is a content heart. In...

HOPE

Queen Abbess Dr Patricia Hackshaw The Anchor in Life’s Storms "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." — Romans 15:13 My Beloved, Hope is the anchor that holds us steady in the storms of life. It is not wishful thinking but the unshakable confidence that God is faithful, that His promises are true, and that His love will never fail. I have walked through many trials, and I have learned that hope is not found in our circumstances but in our Saviour. In The Mystical Order, we do not fear the future, for we know that God holds it in His hands. Hope is the assurance that He is working all things together for our good, even when we cannot see the way. It is the light that shines in the darkness, the song that rises in the night, and the peace that guards our hearts. But let me share a truth I have learned: Hope is not passive. It is active trust in God’s character and His ...

THE SACRED JOURNEY OF PRAYER AND CONTEMPLATION

The Sacred Journey of Prayer and Contemplation In the quiet corners of our hearts, where the world’s noise fades into silence, lies the sacred space of prayer and contemplation. This journey is not merely an act of devotion but a transformative experience—a dialogue with the divine, a conversation with the soul, and a path to inner peace. Prayer and contemplation are the bridges that connect the finite with the infinite, the human with the divine, and the restless mind with the stillness of the spirit. Prayer is often seen as the act of speaking to a higher power, a moment of surrender where we lay our burdens, hopes, and gratitude at the feet of the divine. It is an expression of faith, a cry for guidance, and a celebration of blessings. Whether whispered in solitude or chanted in unison, prayer is the language of the soul, transcending words and reaching the depths of our being. It is in these moments that we acknowledge our limitations and open ourselves to the wisdom and gr...

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM THE ARCHBISHOP

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow Beloved, devotion is the doorway through which revival enters the life of the believer and the life of the Church. Many pray for revival as if it were a distant event, but revival truly begins in the quiet surrender of one heart at a time. When a man or woman bows in humility, confesses sin, and returns wholeheartedly to God, a holy spark is lit. As more hearts respond in the same way, those sparks become a flame, and that flame becomes a burning testimony that God is moving in the midst of His people. This is the power of sincere devotion. As the Archbishop, there is a vision for a Church where every altar—public and private—is alive with the fire of God. Such a Church cannot be content with mere formality. Songs without surrender, sermons without brokenness, and services without expectation will not satisfy the hunger of the Spirit. Devotion calls us beyond routine into a genuine encounter. It invites us to come before ...

THE POWER OF GOD'S WORD

Title: "Anchored in Scripture: Finding Strength in God’s Word" Beloved in Christ, The Bible is not just a book—it is the living Word of God, a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). In a world filled with noise and distraction, God’s Word remains our steadfast anchor. Hebrews 4:12 tells us,  "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." This week, let us commit to immersing ourselves in Scripture. Whether through daily reading, meditation, or study, let God’s Word shape your thoughts, guide your decisions, and renew your mind. When we fill our hearts with His truth, we are better equipped to face life’s challenges with wisdom and faith. Ask yourself: Am I making time to read and reflect on God’s Word? Am I allowing it to transform me from the inside out? Let Scripture be your foundation, your co...
