DEVOTION WITH ARCHBISHOP ANDRES B. QUOW

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow

Beloved, devotion is the steady flame that guides the servant of God through seasons of visibility and seasons of obscurity. There are times when the work of ministry is celebrated, and there are times when it seems to go unnoticed. Yet the devoted heart serves with the same diligence in both. It understands that the true rewarder of all labour is God Himself, and that nothing done for His glory is ever forgotten. This perspective keeps the soul from growing weary in well-doing and sustains the leader through long stretches of faithful, unseen service.

As Presiding Prelate, there is deep appreciation for those within The Mystical Order who quietly uphold the work with prayer, sacrifice, and steadfast commitment. Devotion honours such labour, not by magnifying the individual, but by recognizing the grace of God at work in them. It also challenges each of us to examine where we may have allowed complacency to creep in. Have we grown too comfortable? Have we settled for less than what God desires to do in and through us? Devotion shakes us from spiritual slumber and calls us back to earnest pursuit.

Devotion further prepares the Church for future responsibility. God entrusts greater assignments to those who have proven faithful in small things. When we handle present duties with care, integrity, and reverence, we demonstrate that our hearts are aligned with His. This applies to every role, from the pulpit to the pew, from the visible to the hidden. The Lord sees the one who sweeps the floor with as much clarity as He sees the one who preaches the message. In His kingdom, devotion is the true measure of greatness.

In the days ahead, let your devotion be both deep and practical. Pray fervently, yes, but also act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God. Bring your questions, your burdens, and your dreams to Him, and trust that He will guide your steps. May your devotion draw you ever closer to His heart, and may His covering remain upon you, your family, and this sacred Order, now and always.

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
