DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE WITH ARCHBISHOP

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Andres B. Quow

Beloved, devotion is the sacred rhythm that keeps the believer’s heart in harmony with the will of God. When the world pulls in many directions, devotion draws us back to the centre—to the still point where Christ reigns as Lord over every thought, decision, and desire. It is in this place of yieldedness that confusion gives way to clarity and fear surrenders to trust. Devotion teaches the soul to rest, not in its own strength, but in the unfailing faithfulness of God. From this rest flows courage to face trials and grace to endure every season.

As Archbishop, the prayer is that each member of this Mystical Order will cultivate such a life of steady devotion. It cannot be borrowed from another nor sustained by occasional bursts of emotion. It must be nurtured daily, like a flame that is carefully tended lest it grow dim. This happens when we make room for prayer, when we treasure the Word, and when we listen for the gentle prompting of the Spirit in the everyday moments of life. Over time, these practices form a holy reflex within the soul—a deep inner “yes” to God that rises even before words are spoken.

Devotion also reshapes the way we view service. No task is too small when it is done unto the Lord. A greeting at the door, a whispered prayer for a brother or sister, an act of quiet generosity—all become precious offerings on the altar of God. The devoted heart does not measure value by visibility, but by obedience. Where there is obedience, there is joy, even in sacrifice.

In the days to come, let your devotion be intentional and unwavering. Guard it from distraction, nourish it with thanksgiving, and express it through love for others. May your life be a living sanctuary where God is honoured continually, and may His presence remain the abiding mark of this Order and of every soul who walks within its fellowship.

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
