HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey
Beloved saints,
Prayer is the spiritual breath of the believer, the sacred dialogue between the soul and its Creator. In prayer, we do not inform God of our needs—He already knows them—but we align ourselves with His will. Prayer changes not the nature of God, but the posture of man before Him.
When the Mystical Order first gathered in the spirit of obedience, it was prayer that opened the heavens. It was prayer that stirred revival fires across our fellowship. And it will be prayer that sustains us as one body, united in divine communion. Every triumph in this ministry has been birthed in prayer, and every miracle sealed by it.
Beloved brethren, let prayer be more than words—it must become a lifestyle. Rise each morning with a prayer of thanksgiving and close each night with a prayer of surrender. When trials visit, turn not to complaint but to communion. The Master Himself withdrew often to pray, showing us that power in ministry flows directly from prayer in secret.
Remember that prayer carries authority. The fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. When the Church prays in agreement, the heavens respond. Let no member stand idle, for in your petitions lies divine strength for the whole body.
Let us keep the altars of prayer burning in our homes, sanctuaries, and hearts. When we pray, the weak are strengthened, the lost are found, and the name of our God is exalted. May the spirit of prayer always rest upon our ministry as we continue to seek His face.
