DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM ARCHBISHOP ANDRES B. QUOW

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow

Beloved in Christ, devotion is the language of love spoken from earth to heaven. It is how the believer answers the call of God with more than a nod of agreement; it is the offering of the whole life back to the One who gave it. True devotion cannot be confined to a single day of worship or a single role in the sanctuary. It must flow through every thought, every decision, and every relationship. Where devotion is present, there is a quiet stability, a holy resolve that does not crumble under pressure, because it rests in the character of God.

As Presiding Prelate, there is a sacred responsibility to keep pointing the Church toward this deeper life with God. Structures and programs have their place, but they cannot replace a heart that is on fire for the Lord. It is possible to be busy in the house of God and yet distant from the God of the house. Devotion corrects this imbalance. It draws leaders and members alike back to the feet of Jesus, to the simplicity of loving Him, listening to Him, and obeying Him. From that place, every ministry takes on new life and authenticity.

Devotion also strengthens the bonds of spiritual family. When each person seeks God sincerely, there is less room for envy, strife, and suspicion. Instead, there grows a culture of honour, where gifts are celebrated, weaknesses are covered in love, and burdens are carried together. In such an atmosphere, the presence of the Lord is felt strongly, and those who visit can sense that they have entered a holy fellowship. This is the kind of testimony The Mystical Order is called to display—a people marked by devotion, unity, and holiness.

In the days ahead, let your devotion be intentional. Set aside time to be alone with God, even amid a busy schedule. Approach each service, each meeting, and each act of service as an offering laid upon the altar. May your devotion rise before God as a sweet savour, and may His wisdom, protection, and blessing rest upon you, your household, and this entire spiritual family, now and forevermore.

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
