The Power of Worship in Every Season
Dear Beloved in the Lord,
Worship is not merely an act we perform on Sundays; it is the of life. The Psalmist declares, "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth" (Psalm 34:1). This is a call to worship God not only when life is easy but especially when we face trials, uncertainties, and storms.
Worship shifts our focus from our circumstances to the character of God. It reminds us of His faithfulness, His sovereignty, and His unfailing love. When we worship, we acknowledge that God is worthy of our praise, regardless of what we are going through. The Apostle Paul and Silas demonstrated this truth when they prayed and sang hymns to God while imprisoned (Acts 16:25). Their worship was not dependent on their freedom; it was an act of faith that led to their deliverance.
True worship is not about the songs we sing or the words we say; it is about the . It is about offering ourselves—our joys, our sorrows, our fears, and our dreams—to God as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). When we worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24), we invite God’s presence into our lives, and He transforms us from the inside out.
Let us cultivate a , where every breath, every thought, and every action is an offering to God. Let us worship Him in the highs and the lows, trusting that He is always worthy of our praise. And as we do, may our worship become a testimony to the world of God’s goodness and glory.
May your life be a continuous act of worship, bringing honor and glory to His name.
In His Presence,
Archbishop and Presiding Prelate
Sir Andres B. Quow
