PATIENCE IN THE JOURNEY

HH, Patriarch Godfrey

Dearest Members of our Sacred Order,

The virtue I wish to speak to your hearts about today is patience—that often overlooked but essential quality of the enlightened soul. In our modern world, where everything moves at the speed of thought and instant gratification has become the expected norm, we must remember that spiritual growth follows a different timeline, one ordained not by human urgency but by divine wisdom.

I understand the frustration that can arise when you pray fervently yet see no immediate answer, when you meditate deeply and feel no sudden transformation, when you study diligently yet understanding seems to evade your grasp. These feelings are not unique to you; every great mystic, every spiritual master who has walked this earth has experienced these same moments of seeming stagnation. But I tell you this truth: there is no such thing as wasted effort in the spiritual realm. Every prayer is heard, every meditation matters, every moment of study plants seeds in the fertile soil of your consciousness.

Consider the mighty oak tree. It does not spring up overnight but grows slowly, imperceptibly, adding ring upon ring over decades and centuries. Yet this gradual growth produces wood so strong it can withstand the fiercest storms. So too is your spiritual development. The changes happening within you may not be visible to your eyes today, but they are occurring nonetheless. Your soul is being shaped, refined, and strengthened through consistent practice and unwavering faith.

Some among you may look at others in our Order and feel that their progress surpasses your own. Release this comparison immediately, for it serves no purpose but to steal your peace. Each soul has its own unique curriculum, its own lessons to learn, its own pace of unfoldment. The universe does not make mistakes in its timing. You are exactly where you need to be at this moment, learning precisely what your spirit requires for its evolution.

I encourage you to celebrate the small victories—the moment of insight during meditation, the compassionate response you gave when anger would have been easier, the day you chose faith over fear. These seemingly minor triumphs are the building blocks of spiritual mastery. Trust in the process, trust in the timing, and above all, trust in the Divine plan that is being worked out in your life with perfect precision.

With enduring love,

The Patriarch

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
