THANKSGIVING IN ALL SEASONS

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey

Beloved members of The Mystical Order Ministries,

Grace, mercy, and peace be with you. As your Patriarch, I greet you with a heart overflowing with gratitude and encouragement. Today’s message reminds us that thanksgiving is not limited to moments of blessing but must be the posture of the believer in every season of life. True thanksgiving flows not from abundance alone, but from faith that sees God’s goodness even in times of testing.

The Apostle Paul wrote, “In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God concerning you.” This command does not instruct us to be grateful only when things go well, but to remain thankful even when the path is difficult. Gratitude transforms the heart; it opens the door to peace, quells anxiety, and strengthens faith. When we give thanks amid hardship, we declare that God remains faithful regardless of circumstance.

The spirit of thanksgiving shifts our perspective. It teaches us to focus not on what we lack, but on what God has already done. Each sunrise, each breath, each answered prayer, and even each delay is an opportunity to glorify the Lord. Gratitude turns complaints into worship and challenges into testimonies. The one who learns to thank God in trial will find joy that no external condition can steal.

As members of The Mystical Order, thanksgiving must be our continual song. Let us not be known merely for what we do but for the gratitude that fills our hearts. When we gather for prayer, let thanksgiving rise before petition. When we work in ministry, let it be with joyful hearts, giving glory to God for the privilege of service. A grateful church reflects divine maturity; it becomes a sanctuary of joy and hope to all who enter.

Beloved, remember that thanksgiving is the language of faith. It declares, “God is working even when I do not see it.” It is not blind optimism but spiritual confidence in His unchanging promises. Gratitude keeps the heart soft and the spirit humble, drawing us closer to the presence of God. When we lift our thanks continually, blessings increase, burdens lighten, and miracles unfold quietly around us.

May your heart overflow with thanksgiving in this and every season. May gratitude guard your peace, strengthen your faith, and deepen your joy in the Lord. Let The Mystical Order continue to shine as a thankful people who live in continual praise to the Almighty.

With a grateful heart and pastoral blessing,
The Patriarch

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
