THE STRENGTH FOUND IN OBEDIENCE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey

Beloved members of The Mystical Order Ministries,

Peace and divine favour be multiplied unto you. As your Patriarch, I write today with a message that lies at the very foundation of a faithful walk with God—obedience. From the beginning of creation, obedience has been the measure of our love for the Almighty. The blessings of the Lord flow richly where obedience dwells, for submission to God’s will is the truest expression of faith and devotion.

To obey is not always easy. It often calls us to surrender our understanding, desires, and timing to God's higher wisdom. Abraham knew this when he was asked to leave his homeland without knowing his destination. Noah endured ridicule while constructing the ark because he obeyed the divine command. Even our Lord, in His humanity, learned obedience through suffering. Each act of faithful submission opened a gateway to blessing beyond comprehension.

Many stumble when obedience requires sacrifice. Yet it is in these moments that true faith is revealed. God does not ask for perfect performance; He desires willing hearts. Obedience is not about compliance out of fear but about cooperation born of love. When the believer learns to say, “Thy will be done,” power is released, and grace flows like rivers of living water.

As members of The Mystical Order, our growth and effectiveness depend upon obedience to divine instruction and spiritual discipline. The policies, teachings, and leadership structures within this sacred body are not meant to control but to align us with God’s purpose. Every directive rooted in righteousness leads to fruitfulness. When we walk in obedience, the Order flourishes, harmony prevails, and the Spirit of God finds free expression among us.

Beloved, partial obedience still counts as disobedience. Saul lost favour because he chose what was convenient rather than what was commanded. But those who obey in faith, even when it is difficult, find joy unspeakable and peace beyond understanding. Let your heart be quick to respond when the Spirit speaks. Trust that wherever the Lord leads you, His hand will sustain you.

Today, recommit your heart to walking in faithful obedience. Whether God calls you to a greater responsibility, to forgive a long-standing hurt, or simply to wait in silence, obey with joy. Remember that obedience is not weakness—it is strength under divine authority. It is the secret of victory, prosperity, and lasting peace.

May each member of this Order find delight in doing the will of the Father. As we walk together in obedience, may the blessings of heaven rest upon us and our labour prosper in all things.

With love and guidance,
The Patriarch

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
