SERVING IN LOVE AND HUMILITY

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey

Beloved members of The Mystical Order Ministries,

Grace, mercy, and peace be with you always. As your Patriarch, I greet you in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour, who came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. Service, my beloved, is at the very heart of our calling. Every position, every title, every blessing we hold is given not for self-exaltation but for the building up of God’s kingdom through love and humility.

In a world that often glorifies power, position, and recognition, the Church must stand as a living testimony of a different way. The greatest among us must become the servant of all. True greatness is not found in commanding others but in washing their feet, lifting burdens, and ministering with compassion. Service that flows from love is not a duty—it is an act of worship. When we serve in love, we mirror the heart of Christ Himself.

Humility is the soil in which love can take root. Without humility, service becomes performance; with humility, it becomes grace. The one who serves with a humble heart looks not for praise from men but the approval of God. The Lord delights in those who lower themselves for the sake of others. Each act of kindness, each word of encouragement, each unseen labour performed in quiet faithfulness is written in heaven’s record.

Members of The Mystical Order, let us therefore renew our commitment to serve one another with genuine love. Whether you are a Bishop, Sister, or Deacon, never forget that your highest honour is found in service. When you visit the sick, comfort the weary, feed the hungry, or pray for the fallen, you reveal Christ to the world. The love you sow in humility will return to you in divine favour and undying peace.

Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you shall reap if you faint not. Let every task—whether great or small—be done as unto the Lord. Even when gratitude is absent and recognition unseen, God sees and rewards faithfulness in His perfect time.

My prayer today is that your service may be rooted in love that never fails, guided by humility that never seeks its own, and strengthened by a spirit that never tires of doing good. May this Order continue to be known not only for its faith and structure but for its tender-hearted service to all.

With blessings and love,
The Patriarch

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
