PERSEVERANCE

The Key to Spiritual Growth

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The journey of faith is not a sprint but a marathon, requiring endurance, patience, and unwavering commitment. The Apostle James reminds us, "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him" (James 1:12). Perseverance is not merely a virtue but a necessity for those who seek to grow in their relationship with God.

Life is filled with trials and tribulations that test our resolve. These challenges, though difficult, are opportunities for spiritual growth. They refine our character, deepen our dependence on God, and strengthen our faith. Just as gold is purified through fire, our faith is refined through the trials we endure.

Consider the example of the Apostle Paul, who faced countless hardships—imprisonment, beatings, and shipwrecks—yet remained steadfast in his mission. His perseverance was rooted in his unwavering belief in the gospel and his trust in God's faithfulness. Similarly, we are called to press on, regardless of the obstacles we face, knowing that God is with us every step of the way.

Perseverance is not about our strength but about our reliance on God's grace. It is about choosing to trust Him even when the road is difficult. Let us draw near to God in prayer, seek His wisdom in Scripture, and surround ourselves with a community of believers who can encourage and uplift us.

Remember, the trials we face today are temporary, but the rewards of perseverance are eternal. Let us run the race set before us with endurance, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).

In His Grace,

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate

Sir Andres B. Quow

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
