The Patience of Divine Love
"Love is patient, love is kind..." — 1 Corinthians 13:4
My Beloved,
Long-suffering is the patience of divine love—a love that endures, that forgives, and that never gives up. I have walked with many souls through seasons of struggle, and I have learned that long-suffering is not about passive resignation. It is about and faithfulness. It is the willingness to bear with one another in love, even when it is difficult.
In The Mystical Order, we do not grow weary in doing good. We persevere, for we know that God is at work, even when we cannot see the results. Long-suffering is the mark of on God, to trust His promises, and to love others even when they fall short.
But let me share a truth I have learned: Long-suffering is not about tolerating injustice or enabling harmful behaviour. It is about and in His time. It is the courage to love deeply, to forgive freely, and to hope steadfastly, even when the journey is long.
Ask yourself: Am I patient with others as God is patient with me? True long-suffering is not about endurance alone; it is about love—a love that reflects the heart of Christ.
With a Heart of Patience,
Queen Abbess Patricia
