HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey
Beloved members of The Mystical Order,
Faith is the foundation upon which our entire spiritual journey is built. It is the confident assurance in God’s promises and His unfailing love, even when the storms of life rage around us. Faith is what keeps us standing when the world tries to shake us. It is not merely believing in God’s existence but trusting in His power, His plan, and His perfect timing. As Scripture tells us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).
When troubles come—and they will—faith does not guarantee a life free of difficulties, but it assures us that God is with us every step, working for our good. The challenges we face are not signs of God’s absence but opportunities to deepen our trust and grow spiritually. Our forefathers in faith, Abraham, Moses, and many others, walked by faith through uncertainty and hardship, receiving God’s blessings through perseverance and unwavering trust.
In our ministry, let us encourage one another to hold fast to that faith. Faith activates God’s power in our lives. It prompts us to pray boldly, to serve faithfully, and to walk humbly before the Lord. Without faith, we cannot please Him; our worship and service lose their spiritual effectiveness.
Today, I urge you to examine the condition of your faith. Are doubts whispering lies to your heart? Are you wavering amid the trials? Bring those fears before God. Refresh your spirit in His Word, which is a firm foundation and lamp unto your path. Let faith arise as a shield against fear and despair.
Remember, faith is a journey, not a moment. It grows with each step of obedience, praise, and trust. Let your life be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, inspiring others in The Mystical Order to walk boldly in faith, knowing that with God, all things are possible.
Stand firm, beloved. Your faith will carry you through every challenge and into the fullness of all God has prepared for you.
The Patriarch
