DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE WITH THE ARCHBISHOP

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow

Beloved, devotion is the quiet engine that moves the Church forward when excitement fades and routine sets in. Grand beginnings are common; consistent faithfulness is rare. Yet it is faithfulness that heaven honours. Devotion steadies the hands that might otherwise drop assignments, and it strengthens the knees that might otherwise grow weak in prayer. It reminds the soul that ministry is not a passing project but a lifelong offering poured out before the Lord.

As Presiding Prelate, gratitude rises for all who labour in this Mystical Order—those whose names are known and those who serve in hidden corners. Devotion dignifies every role, for it sees beyond the task to the One for whom the task is done. When a believer cleans, sings, teaches, counsels, or intercedes with a devoted heart, the ordinary becomes holy. This perspective guards against frustration and burnout, for the eye is fixed not on temporary results but on eternal rewards.

Devotion also prepares us for divine surprises. A heart that stays available to God, even in routine, is ready when the Spirit suddenly opens a door, sends a soul in need, or releases a fresh assignment. Many miss such moments because their service has grown mechanical. The devoted servant, however, works with expectation, knowing that at any time God may breathe on the ordinary and bring forth the extraordinary.

In this hour, let your devotion be renewed. Return to your first love with fresh gratitude for the mercy that saved you and the grace that keeps you. Approach your responsibilities, great or small, as daily opportunities to love God in practical ways. May your devotion fuel perseverance, protect you from discouragement, and position you for greater usefulness in the kingdom. And may the blessing, wisdom, and favour of the Lord continue to rest upon you, your household, and this sacred Mystical Order, now and always.

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
