DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE WITH THE ARCHBISHOP

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow

Beloved, devotion is the gentle but unbreakable cord that draws the Church into deeper unity with Christ and with one another. Many forces seek to scatter the flock—offence, misunderstanding, weariness—but devotion calls us back to the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls. When the heart is truly devoted to God, it cannot long remain hardened toward a brother or sister. The same grace we receive at the cross becomes the grace we extend to those around us. In this way, devotion becomes a healing river, softening hearts and restoring fellowship.

As Archbishop, the hope is to see this healing river flow freely through every assembly within this Mystical Order. It begins when each believer chooses the path of humility rather than the path of self-justification. Devotion bows low, acknowledging that without God’s mercy, none could stand. From this posture, apologies become easier, reconciliation becomes possible, and unity becomes precious. The Church then moves from being a collection of individuals to a true spiritual family, bound together by love and shared purpose.

Devotion also sharpens our spiritual hearing. In a noisy age, many voices compete for attention, yet only one voice leads to life. The devoted heart learns to recognize the tone of the Good Shepherd—firm yet gentle, corrective yet compassionate. As we respond to that voice, guidance becomes clearer, and unnecessary confusion is dispelled. This is vital for leadership and laity alike, for decisions made without divine direction can burden the work, while decisions made in God’s counsel advance it with grace.

As you continue your journey, let devotion govern your words, shape your choices, and soften your responses. Seek to be an instrument of peace in every circle you enter—home, workplace, and sanctuary. May your devotion to God be seen in your devotion to His people, and may the bond of peace grow ever stronger within this Mystical Order to the honour and glory of God.

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
