DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM THE ARCHBISHOP

Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow

Beloved, devotion is the sacred thread that weaves every part of life into a single tapestry of worship unto God. Many attempt to separate the spiritual from the everyday, but the truly devoted heart understands that there is no such divide. The same God who meets us at the altar walks with us in the marketplace, in the workplace, and in the quiet corridors of the home. When the believer embraces this truth, every action—whether great or small—can become an offering of praise. In this way, devotion sanctifies the ordinary and reveals the nearness of God in all things.

As the Archbishop, there is a deep longing to see a people whose faith does not waver with changing circumstances. A devoted life remains steady because it is built on the Rock that cannot be moved. Trials may come, disappointments may arise, yet the soul anchored in God refuses to surrender its trust. Such devotion is not born in a moment of emotion; it is formed over time, as the believer chooses again and again to stand on the promises of God. Out of this steadfastness grows a mature faith that can encourage others and uphold the weak.

Devotion also compels us to examine our motives. It is possible to perform many religious duties and yet drift from the heart of God. Therefore, there must be continual self-examination before the Lord. Are our labours driven by love or by a desire for recognition? Are our sacrifices made to honour God or to impress people? The devoted heart desires that Christ be seen and exalted above all. Where He is glorified, there the soul finds true satisfaction and peace.

In the journey ahead, let your devotion lead you into deeper surrender. Offer God your time, your talents, and your treasure, not as a reluctant payment, but as a joyful response to His overwhelming grace. May your life shine as a living testimony that God is worthy of all, and may His presence continue to rest upon The Mystical Order as a sign that He walks among His people.

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
