THE DANGER OF COMPARISON

 HH, Patriarch Sir Johnson

Dear Unique Creations,

Social media has created an epidemic of comparison that is quietly destroying souls. Every day, you scroll through carefully curated highlight reels of other people's lives, comparing their best moments to your ordinary reality, their strengths to your weaknesses, their victories to your struggles. This comparison breeds discontent, envy, and a deep sense of inadequacy.

You must understand that comparison is a trap that robs you of joy and paralyzes your progress. When you measure yourself against others, you will always find someone more successful, more gifted, further along, more blessed. This comparison leads to one of two destructive conclusions: either pride (I am better than they) or despair (I will never measure up).

Both responses miss the fundamental truth: you were created as an original, not a copy. Your assignment is unique. Your gifts are specific. Your journey is yours alone. The person you are tempted to envy is fighting battles you know nothing about. The life that looks perfect from the outside may be crumbling behind closed doors.

Instead of comparing yourself to others, compare yourself to who you were yesterday. Are you growing? Are you learning? Are you becoming more of who you were created to be? This is the only meaningful measurement. Celebrate others' victories without diminishing your own worth. Their success does not require your failure. There is room for everyone to shine.

Focus on your own lane. Run your own race. Develop your own gifts. Fulfil your own calling. Stop looking sideways at what others are doing and keep your eyes fixed on where you are going. The energy you waste in comparison could be invested in your own development.

Remember, you have something unique to offer that no one else can give. The world needs your specific expression, your particular voice, your distinctive contribution. When you spend your life trying to be someone else, we all lose the gift of who you were meant to be.

Be authentically, unapologetically you.

Patriarch Johnson

FROM THE DESK OF THE QUEEN ABBESS

A Message from The Queen Abbess Dr. Patriarch Hackshaw To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas Beloved Members of The Mystical Order Ministries, I greet you with profound joy and spiritual affection as we enter into this sacred season of Christmas. It is my privilege and honour to extend to you my warmest wishes for a law-abiding, peaceful, and joyous holiday season. May the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ bring renewed hope, divine blessing, and transformative grace into every aspect of your lives. Christmas commemorates the most pivotal moment in human history—when the eternal Son of God humbled Himself and entered our world as a helpless infant. This divine condescension reveals the heart of our God: a heart that loves deeply, forgives completely, and desires an intimate relationship with each of His children. The birth of Christ was not merely a religious event; heaven declared that God has not abandoned humanity but has come to dwell a...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with man.  “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away”  (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s life reminds us that walking with God is not bound by earthly limitations but leads to eternal fellowship with Him. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

HH, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Children of the Faith, Gratitude is the key that unlocks the fullness of God’s blessings. A thankful heart turns what we have into enough and more. It recognizes God’s hand in every circumstance and magnifies His goodness beyond measure. Gratitude is not merely a response to blessings received but a lifestyle that colours our perspective and strengthens our faith. In The Mystical Order, let us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving in every season. When trials come, let gratitude be the lens through which we view them—as tools for growth and deeper reliance on God. When blessings abound, may our hearts overflow in praise and generosity. A thankful heart brings joy and peace, binds us together in humility, and stands as a testimony to the world of God’s faithfulness. Let us give thanks in all things, knowing that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Today, renew your commitment to gratitude. Let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving and your lips wit...
