HH, Patriarch Sir Johnson
Faithful Stewards,
Let me speak plainly about a subject many religious leaders avoid: money. Too often, spirituality and prosperity are presented as opposites, as if poverty were somehow more holy than abundance. This is a damaging lie that has kept countless believers locked in lack.
The Divine wants you to prosper. Prosperity is not evil—it is neutral. Money is simply a tool, a resource that amplifies whatever is already in your heart. In the hands of the selfish, it produces more selfishness. In the hands of the generous, it produces more generosity. The key is not to avoid wealth but to develop the character that can handle it wisely.
Many of you struggle financially not because the Divine is withholding from you, but because you have not learned the spiritual principles that govern prosperity. You cannot violate the law of sowing and reaping and expect a harvest. You cannot hold your resources with a closed fist and expect to receive more. You cannot mismanage small amounts and be trusted with larger ones.
I encourage you to see yourself as a steward rather than an owner. Everything you have is a trust from the Divine, given to you to manage for His purposes. When you shift from ownership to stewardship, you stop making decisions based on fear and start making them based on faith. You become generous because you recognize that the source of your supply is unlimited.
Practice the principle of the seed. Whatever you want more of, plant some of it. Want more love? Give love. Want more time? Invest time in others. Want more money? Sow money into good soil. The universe operates on this simple but profound principle: you reap what you sow, more than you sow, later than you sow.
Begin today to handle your resources with integrity, wisdom, and generosity. Keep your commitments. Pay your obligations. Give your tithes and offerings. Save for the future. Invest in your development. The Divine is looking for faithful stewards to whom He can entrust greater resources for kingdom purposes.
Be blessed and be a blessing,
Patriarch Johnson
