THE POWER OF LOVE: A LIGHT THAT NEVER FADES

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg In a world often shadowed by division and strife, love stands as the most transformative force we possess. It is not merely an emotion, but a choice—a daily commitment to see the divine spark in every person, to extend kindness even when it is not returned, and to build bridges where walls have been built. Love, as taught by the great spiritual traditions, is the very essence of God’s nature. It is patient, kind, and selfless. It does not envy or boast, nor does it keep record of wrongs. True love seeks the well-being of others, even at personal cost. When we love, we reflect the image of our Creator, who loved us first and without condition. But love is not always easy. It requires courage to forgive, strength to be vulnerable, and wisdom to set healthy boundaries. It means choosing compassion over judgment, understanding over anger, and unity over isolation. In moments of conflict or pain, love calls us to rise above our instincts and to act with ...

THE ETERNAL WALK

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg The journey of faith is not limited to the span of our earthly years—it is a walk that stretches into eternity. For those who belong to the Lord, life is more than a fleeting moment; it is the beginning of an everlasting union with God. Our walk with Him is both present and eternal. Jesus confirms this promise of eternal companionship, declaring:  “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”  (John 11:25–26). Our walk continues beyond death, for in Christ we have eternal life. Paul describes this journey beautifully:  “For we walk by faith, not by ...

STEPS OF WORSHIP IN SCRIPTURE

HH, Patriarch Godfrey Gregg Worship is a journey of the heart and soul towards God's presence, and the Bible offers guidance in how to approach Him meaningfully. Here are foundational steps with Scriptures: 1. Invitation Worship begins with an  invitation  to enter God's presence joyfully and wholeheartedly. “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.” — Psalm 95:1 2. Humility A heart attitude of  humility  is essential, recognizing God’s grace and our need for Him. “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” — James 4:6 3. Thanksgiving Offer  thanksgiving  for all God has done, expressing gratitude as you approach Him. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” — Psalm 100:4 4. Praise and Adoration Engage in  praise and adoration , lifting voices, songs, and music to honour God’s greatness and goodness. “Let us come before ...
